Business Development Associate

Made In Space is developing breakthrough manufacturing technologies that utilize the unique environment of outer space. Location: Jacksonville, FL
This is an entry level position designed to bolster the business development team by providing insight, coordination, and support for all activities. The business development associate will participate in developing market analysis, technology innovation, corporate strategy, and briefings for executives.
+ Identifying and shaping technology development opportunities
+ Proposal writing skills involving open solicitations and direct to customer sales
+ Proposal support involving multiple internal and external stakeholders + Support the development of team-based customer pitches
+ Developing and managing customer relationships
+ Market research and business planning
+ Bachelor’s degree or higher level of education
+ Takes initiative
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Willingness to travel
+ Excitement about space
+ Must be a “U.S. person” as defined by the ITAR (22 CFR §120.15)
Preferred Skills And Experience:
+ Technical Background
+ Experience working with NASA, commercial space corporations and/or space-focused government agencies
+ Experience with manufacturing technologies (additive, subtractive, stereolithography, etc.)
+ Experience with robotic technologies (machine learning, machine vision, construction)
+ Experience with materials science
+ Experience with biosciences
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
