Corporate Social Responsibility
At Made In Space we believe that our technology can change the future of space exploration and enable humanity to sustainably live and work in space. While our company pursues ambitious goals, we also believe that it’s important to make a positive impact in the communities where we live and work, here on Earth.
Since the founding of our company, we have prioritized community involvement, science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) outreach, and strengthening the workforce pipeline. We support grassroots organizations and maintain corporate partnerships to bolster our involvement in these areas.
We encourage you to explore the different initiatives that Made In Space supports.
Made In Space is invested in the communities that our employees live and work in. We believe in the power of volunteerism and are proud of the MIS team for their community stewardship. Made In Space partners with agencies like the United Way and local schools and outreach programs to address community needs, promote interest in STEM careers and provide mentorship.
We understand that the future of space exploration will be powered by the ingenuity, creativity and passion of the next generation. We strongly advocate for increasing accessibility to STEMlearning opportunities and resources so that every student can explore their interests and diverse STEM careers.
Made In Space proudly supports local STEM programs and schools in the communities where we work and we have also forged partnerships with several outstanding organizations that are focused on providing authentic STEM learning experiences to students.
We have also developed an internal program call “Meet An Engineer” that encourages members of our staff to visit local-area schools, libraries and outreach programs to talk about their work to spark interest in STEM careers among students, especially those in underserved communities.
