+ Performs research and development functions on the robotic systems that will be incorporated into developed hardware
+ Will work on problems with moderate to large scopes
+ Difficult and unique challenges unlike any use case addressed in traditional robotics
+ BS in Engineering, or equivalent
+ Proven skills in designing, building, programming, and operating robotic systems
+ Capable of developing the mechanical systems, building and programming the associated electronics
+ Built/debug robotics programs
+ Advanced verbal and written communication skills
+ 2+ years of experience
+ Must be a “U.S. person” as defined by the ITAR (22 CFR §120.15)
Preferred Skills and Experience:
+ Background in robotics
+ Experience managing a team of engineers functioning in different capacities on a multi-segmented project
+ Knowledge of space hardware requirements a huge plus
