Among many other projects, Made In Space launched the commercially available Additive Manufacturing Facility to the ISS in 2016.

Job Overview:

+ Real-time operation of hardware in space
+ Managing communication between MIS and MSFC operations centers
+ Developing operations for on-orbit assets


+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to apply these to interactions within a team and between teams
+ Ability to modify communication until understanding is met
+ Ability to plan around known communications concerns
+ Advanced network troubleshooting capabilities
+ 3D printing knowledge and experience
+ Must be able to travel and work non-standard and/or extended hours periodically
+ Excitement about space and a startup environment
+ 2+ years of hands-on manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, and/or testing experience

+ B.S. Degree in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering or similar discipline
+ Must be a “U.S. person” as defined by the ITAR (22 CFR §120.15)
